Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary and middle school students in California for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin December 1, 2025, and run through the end of the school year.

Position Overview:

Location: Ventura, California.
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Duration: 18 weeks (through end of school year)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours/Week: 40
Modality: In-person
Openings: 2
Pay Rate: $90/hr (local) or $3,939/week (travel)

Grade Levels & Caseloads:

Elementary: No SDCs; caseload includes gen ed and SAI speech/language students
Middle School: No SDCs; caseload includes gen ed and SAI speech/language students
Total Caseload: 52 students

Responsibilities:

Conduct communication assessments
Develop and implement IEPs
Provide therapy services aligned with IEP goals
Document outcomes and maintain therapy logs
Collaborate with school staff and families
Participate in SSTs, annual/triennial reviews, and staff meetings
Train staff and parents on communication disorders and academic impact

Minimum Requirements:

Valid California SLP credential (Clinical/Rehabilitative Services or CA license + CBEST)
CCC-SLP preferred
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
