Speech-Language Pathologist | $90/hr Local or $3,939/week Travel | Full-Time | California | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary and middle school students in California for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin December 1, 2025, and run through the end of the school year.

Position Overview:

• Location: Ventura, California. 

• Start Date: December 1, 2025

• Duration: 18 weeks (through end of school year)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Hours/Week: 40

• Modality: In-person

• Openings: 2

• Pay Rate: $90/hr (local) or $3,939/week (travel)

Grade Levels & Caseloads:

• Elementary: No SDCs; caseload includes gen ed and SAI speech/language students

• Middle School: No SDCs; caseload includes gen ed and SAI speech/language students

• Total Caseload: 52 students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct communication assessments

• Develop and implement IEPs

• Provide therapy services aligned with IEP goals

• Document outcomes and maintain therapy logs

• Collaborate with school staff and families

• Participate in SSTs, annual/triennial reviews, and staff meetings

• Train staff and parents on communication disorders and academic impact

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid California SLP credential (Clinical/Rehabilitative Services or CA license + CBEST)

• CCC-SLP preferred

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
