Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support an elementary life skills classroom for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks, offering $46/hour for 37.5 hours/week.

Position Overview:

Start Date: October 20, 2025
Duration: 36 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours (37.5 hours/week)
Modality: In-person
Pay Rate: $46/hour
Campus: Elementary (specific campus discussed during interview)

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction in a life skills setting
Collaborate with general education and support staff
Participate in planning and implementation of IEPs
Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

Minimum Requirements:

Valid state teaching certificate with SPED endorsement (elementary level)
Generalist or Core Certification for elementary level
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
One year of teaching experience (preferred)
LBS1 endorsement (preferred)
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
