Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support an elementary life skills classroom for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks, offering $46/hour for 37.5 hours/week.

Position Overview:

• Start Date: October 20, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours (37.5 hours/week)

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $46/hour

• Campus: Elementary (specific campus discussed during interview)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in a life skills setting

• Collaborate with general education and support staff

• Participate in planning and implementation of IEPs

• Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid state teaching certificate with SPED endorsement (elementary level)

• Generalist or Core Certification for elementary level

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
