We’re looking for experienced Psychiatric LPNs to provide high-quality support in detox and behavioral health settings. Position Details:
- Pay: $31/hour
- Schedule: Per diem (12–36 hours/week)
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM)
- Location: Tampa, FL

Position Summary
- As an LPN, you will play a vital role in medical care and treatment of individuals coping with or recovering from substance abuse addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. Must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with a care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Conduct health assessments and document clinical observations
- Support clients through withdrawal symptoms and psychiatric episodes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff on treatment plans
- Respond to medical and behavioral crises with professionalism and care
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and facility protocols
- Foster a respectful, recovery-oriented environment
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently active LPN license in Florida
- 1 year experience in a behavioral health, detox, or psychiatric nursing setting required
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
