Job Title: Long-Term Care Pediatric Nurse (RN/LPN)
Location: Providence, RI
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Nurse to join our long-term care team in Providence, RI. This role focuses on providing overnight care to pediatric patients with chronic medical conditions, developmental disabilities, or complex healthcare needs in a residential or skilled nursing facility setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to children and adolescents in a long-term care environment.
- Monitor and assess patient health status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Respond to emergencies and manage acute changes in patient condition during overnight hours.
Qualifications:
- Required: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Rhode Island.
- Preferred: Pediatric or long-term care experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
