Long Term Care Nurse Needed!!

Job Title: Long-Term Care Pediatric Nurse (RN/LPN)
Location: Providence, RI
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Nurse to join our long-term care team in Providence, RI. This role focuses on providing overnight care to pediatric patients with chronic medical conditions, developmental disabilities, or complex healthcare needs in a residential or skilled nursing facility setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to children and adolescents in a long-term care environment.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Respond to emergencies and manage acute changes in patient condition during overnight hours.

Qualifications:

• Required: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Rhode Island.
• Preferred: Pediatric or long-term care experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during night shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
