Position Description 

Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Registered Nurse that would be interested in a Full-Time 13-Week Contract at an Inpatient Hospital Cath Lab Unit in Oak Park, IL. Additional details of the contract are listed below: 

 

Position: Cath Lab RN

 

Location: Oak Park, IL 

 

Contract: Local or Travel

Schedule 

  • 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • 40 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation (2 weekends per month)
  • On Call Required
  • Call Back Opportunities

The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in workingwith patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab.  During cardiac catheterizations, thesespecially trained nurses assist the medical team by monitoring the patient’svitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians,nurses and the patients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a current state license where theywill be working
  • ACLS may be required by state/client contract
  • Minimum of 2 years critical care or Cardiac Cath Labexperience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
