Contract Details: This contract is located in Peyton, CO and will be for the 25/26 school year. The contract pays $47/hour locally and $1975/week travel for 37.5 student contact hours per week with a full benefits package. Before applying for the position, please ensure you are eligible to work in Colorado as a School Counselor (LPC preferred) or already a licensed School Counselor with the Colorado Department of Education (SSP License). Pending licenses will also be considered.
Role Details: The School Counselor/School Mental Health Worker provides counseling to students in need of counseling and/or support with their mental health needs. This individual should have experience with the student population, have experience with a wide range of abilities, and understand the process to hold and maintain Department of Education Licensure.

Minimum Requirements:
- Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirement
- The Counselor may be required to have an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Psychology, Addictions, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or some other Human Development major per state, contract and/or facility guidelines.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
