Urgently Hiring SPED Teacher! (Pay up to $50/hr)

AmergisStaffing is looking to hire a Special Education Teacher to provide qualityservices to special education students, Kindergarten through grade 12, througha commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of studentprograms including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultationwith general education staff. This position is for the current 2024-2025 schoolyear!

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university with an emphasis in appropriate field.
• Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe Credential (required)
• CA Teaching License (required)

What We Offer

• Monday-Friday (between the hours of 7:30am-4pm)
• Starting pay – $45 / hour
• 35-40 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Prepares student education plans in consultation with parents and IEP team members.
• Designs instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum.
• Serves as the coordinator of IEP implementation with general education staff.
• Monitors student progress, participates in review and revision of student’s IEP, as appropriate.
• Other Special Education Teacher related duties as assigned.
