Bilingual Educational Diagnostician | Austin, TX | $50/hr | 22-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Bilingual Educational Diagnosticians to assess and diagnose learning problems for K–12 students. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Diagnostician will conduct evaluations, prepare reports, and collaborate with staff and families to support student success.

Position Overview

  • Location: Austin, TX

  • Start Date: December 1, 2025

  • End Date: May 28, 2026

  • Duration: 22 weeks

  • Openings: 3 positions available

  • Grade Level: K–12

  • Caseload: 45–65 students

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (37 hrs/week)

  • Modality: Campus-based (4 days in-person, 1 day remote)

  • Interview Process: Virtual

  • Pay Rate: $50/hour

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full and individual evaluations, including bilingual assessments

  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA and Texas Education Agency guidelines

  • Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to present results and recommendations

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop appropriate IEPs

  • Ensure compliance with productivity standards, timelines, and documentation requirements

  • Provide consultation and support for bilingual and emergent bilingual students

  • Maintain accurate records and meet state/federal regulations

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (preferred)

  • Teaching experience (preferred)

  • Certification as required by state and/or contract regulations

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable

  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
