About the Role
Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a group home setting supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Staff are present 24/7 to ensure safety and support, but this is not a high-acuity environment. Your primary focus will be assisting residents with everyday living tasks and promoting independence in a comfortable, home-like setting.
What We Offer
- Guaranteed overtime pay through a 36/48 track schedule (alternating weeks of 36 and 48 hours)
- Competitive pay: $19/hour
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend off
- Low patient ratio: 1:3 caregiver-to-patient
- Always staffed with an LPN or RN for clinical support
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
- Encourage independence and support residents in achieving personal goals
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a safe and positive environment
Requirements
- Active CNA license (required)
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting individuals with IDD
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and follow the 36/48 track schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
