Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | School-Based | Houston, TX | Full-Time | 25-Week Contract | $60/hr
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide consultation, training, behavioral evaluations, and intervention planning for students with academic and behavioral needs. This role requires supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and collaboration with teachers and staff to ensure effective behavioral support services.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Pay Rate: $60/hour
Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise a team of 2–4 RBTs, guiding schedules and student assignments
-
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs/BSIPs)
-
Respond to teacher referrals for behavioral support
-
Present findings and recommendations during IEP/ARD meetings
-
Provide consultation and coaching to teachers and staff on behavioral strategies
-
Deliver training sessions (in-person and hybrid formats)
-
Ensure compliance with state requirements for behavioral interventions
-
Maintain communication and documentation using approved systems and personal devices
Minimum Requirements
-
Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
-
Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or related field
-
At least 2 years of experience (school-based preferred)
-
Experience supervising RBTs in educational settings
-
Strong knowledge of FBAs, BIPs, and IEP processes
-
Pediatric experience preferred
-
Current CPR certification, if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
-
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
