Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to assess and diagnose learning problems of students across K–12. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Diagnostician will help determine placement and provide support for students with learning disabilities.

Position Overview

• Location: Shiprock, NM (multiple school sites)

• Start Date: December 1, 2025

• Duration: 22 weeks

• Openings: 1 position available

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

• Modality: School-based, in-person

• Interview Process: In-person interviews highly preferred (virtual available if necessary)

• Pay Rate: $64/hour (local), $2,437.50 weekly

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose learning problems for students across K–12

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to determine student placement and support services

• Document evaluations and maintain compliance with professional standards

• Provide consultation and recommendations to educators and staff

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• Teaching experience (preferred)

• Certification as required by state and/or contract regulations

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements

• Current CPR certification, if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable

• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
