Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | School-Based | Battle Ground, WA | Full-Time | 6-Month Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to perform student evaluations, provide therapy services, and document progress in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders. The SLP will serve elementary school students, collaborating with staff to support communication and academic success.

Position Overview

  • Location: Battle Ground, WA

  • Start Date: January 5, 2026

  • Duration: 6 months (through end of school year)

  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Openings: 1 position available

  • Pay Rate: $65–$70 per hour DOE

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations to determine student speech and language needs

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary school students

  • Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with professional standards

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success

Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Washington preferred

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state/contract

  • Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience preferred

  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable

  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Interview Process

  • Virtual interview with Administrator in Special Services

  • Feedback provided within 24–48 hours
