Position: CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Tewksbury, MA
Pay: $30/HR
Facility Type: State Hospital
Shifts available: Day, Evening, Night
1st Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm
2nd Shift: 2:45pm-11:15pm
3rd Shift: 11pm-7am
Must be able every other weekend, no requested time off in the first 13 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN and monitor changes in patients conditions.
- Record all vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate ect.
- Communicates with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support.
- Assist nurses aor physicians in the operation of medical equipment or provision of patient care.
- Responds and assists in emergency codes to ensure the safe care and management of patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certification as a Nurse Aide under the Massachusetts Aide Registry
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Experience working under supervision of an RN or LPN
- Demonstrated competency appropriate to the age of patients served.
