Educational Diagnostician (Bilingual) | Austin, TX | $50/hr | Full-Time | 22-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician to provide comprehensive evaluations and support services for K–12 students in Austin-area schools. This full-time role begins December 1, 2025 and runs through May 28, 2026.

Position Overview

Location: Austin, TX (specific campuses TBD)
Start Date: December 1, 2025
End Date: May 28, 2026
Duration: 22 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm | 37 hrs/week
Modality: Campus-based (4 days in-person, 1 day remote)
Opening: 1 position available
Caseload: 45–65 students
Pay Rate: $50/hr

Responsibilities

Conduct full and individual evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities, including bilingual assessments
Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA and Texas Education Agency guidelines
Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, presenting evaluation results and recommendations
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and campus staff to develop appropriate IEPs
Ensure compliance with district productivity standards for evaluations and documentation
Maintain accurate records and meet timelines for state and federal regulations
Provide consultation and support for bilingual and emergent bilingual students

Requirements

Master’s degree preferred
Teaching experience preferred
Certification as required by state and/or contract regulations
Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Minimum age: 18
