Educational Diagnostician (Bilingual) | Austin, TX | $50/hr | Full-Time | 22-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician to provide comprehensive evaluations and support services for K–12 students in Austin-area schools. This full-time role begins December 1, 2025 and runs through May 28, 2026.

Position Overview

  • Location: Austin, TX (specific campuses TBD)

  • Start Date: December 1, 2025

  • End Date: May 28, 2026

  • Duration: 22 weeks

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm | 37 hrs/week

  • Modality: Campus-based (4 days in-person, 1 day remote)

  • Opening: 1 position available

  • Caseload: 45–65 students

  • Pay Rate: $50/hr

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full and individual evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities, including bilingual assessments

  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA and Texas Education Agency guidelines

  • Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, presenting evaluation results and recommendations

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and campus staff to develop appropriate IEPs

  • Ensure compliance with district productivity standards for evaluations and documentation

  • Maintain accurate records and meet timelines for state and federal regulations

  • Provide consultation and support for bilingual and emergent bilingual students

Requirements

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Teaching experience preferred

  • Certification as required by state and/or contract regulations

  • Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
