Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to serve as a Middle School Learning Specialist in the Portland, OR area. This role begins December 1, 2025 and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Overview

Location: Portland, OR
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Duration: 7 months
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: ~25 middle school students
Duties: Push-in/pull-out support, 1:1 and small group instruction
Interview Format: Virtual
Pay Rate: $55–$58/hr DOE

Requirements

Valid teaching certificate (OR license preferred)
1+ year of SPED teaching experience
LBS1 endorsement preferred
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Minimum age: 18
