Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to serve as a Middle School Learning Specialist in the Portland, OR area. This role begins December 1, 2025 and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Overview

• Location: Portland, OR

• Start Date: December 1, 2025

• Duration: 7 months

• Schedule: 37.5 hours/week

• Caseload: ~25 middle school students

• Duties: Push-in/pull-out support, 1:1 and small group instruction

• Interview Format: Virtual

• Pay Rate: $55–$58/hr DOE

Requirements

• Valid teaching certificate (OR license preferred)

• 1+ year of SPED teaching experience

• LBS1 endorsement preferred

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Minimum age: 18
