Contract Details: This contract is located near Aurora Co, and is for the 25-26 SY working as an Instructional Assistant. The contract will begin in November and last through the remainder of the 25/26 school year, with an average of 37.5 student contact hours a week. The contract pays $25 / hour, compensation is on a weekly basis.
Role Details: The Instructional Assistant supports classroom instruction by working closely with teachers and students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role involves assisting with academic activities, helping students stay engaged and on task, and providing language support for Dari and Pashto-speaking students to ensure they can fully participate in classroom learning. Candidates must speak Dari / Pashto. These are the two official languages spoken by the Afghanistan and Pakistan people. Your candidates must be able to speak, write and communicate these languages with students and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
