Pay Rate: $50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Setting: In-person (Monday remote possibility; Tuesday–Friday on-site)
Grade Level: Elementary
Caseload: 25 students
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to join The Classical Academies for the remainder of the school year. This position will cover a resignation and provide essential support to students in a structured special education classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state/district regulations
- Support students with mild/moderate needs in an inclusive and resource setting
Qualifications
- Valid teaching license (R3MN and ELA credential preferred)
- Experience in school settings (preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
