School Aide | Winthrop, MA

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Winthrop, MA to hire Special Education Paraprofessionals to work with students on a contractual basis.

Details of the Position Include:

Location: Winthrop, MA

Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:50am – 2:30 pm)

Requirements: At least one year experience working within a school or similar setting. ABA experience preferred but not required. 

Pay Rate: Up to $26/hour based on experience 

Details: As advised by teacher, assist students individually and in groups with social, behavioral and education needs.

-Perform instructional and non-instructional duties in a self-contained, resource room, or regular education classroom.

-Performs all duties associated with meeting the medical, hygienic, physical, and global needs of the children. Including but not limited to: assisting school nurses with diaper changing and toileting, related medical and/or hygiene needs, and transporting non-ambulatory students in wheelchairs within the school building and outside the school building, assisting students during recess and other school related out of building activities and to and from transportation vehicles
