Modality: Special Education Teacher (K–5)

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 4–6 weeks (with high potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Local Pay Rate: $55/hour
Travel Pay Rate: $23/hour

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to cover a long-term leave for grades K–5. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make an immediate impact in a supportive school environment. While the initial contract is short-term, there is a strong likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs in a structured classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff.
  • Maintain compliance with state and district requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
  • OR teaching license preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
