Primary Purpose:
-
Deliver multisensory, structured literacy instruction to students with dyslexia.

Ensure compliance with the Texas Dyslexia Handbook and TEA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct instruction using programs like Take Flight, Basic Language Skills, or other approved curricula.

Collaborate with campus staff to identify students needing dyslexia services.
-
Maintain documentation, progress monitoring, and student records.
-
Support students under Section 504 or special education services.
-
Communicate with parents and participate in ARD/504 meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Texas teaching certification.

Preferred: CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist) or LDT (Licensed Dyslexia Therapist).

Training in structured literacy and multisensory instruction methods.
