Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) – 2025–2026 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support a bilingual special education population for the upcoming school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a flexible work arrangement.
Position Details:
- Contract Length: August 2025 – May 2026
- Schedule: 37.5–40 hours/week during school hours
- Location: Huntsville, TX area
- Modality: Hybrid (Evaluations and ARD meetings must be conducted in person; other responsibilities may be completed remotely)
- Interview Format: In-person
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for bilingual special education students (caseload of approximately 170)
- Participate in ARD meetings
- Provide consultation and direct services as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Requirements:
- Active Texas LSSP license
- Certification by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC)
- Demonstrated experience in assessments, consultations, and direct services
