Hybrid Speech-Language Pathologist | Calumet City, IL | $80/hr | PreK–JH | 2025–2026 SY | Nov 3 Start

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Hybrid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across three school buildings in Calumet City, IL for the 2025–2026 school year. This role begins November 3, 2025 and runs through the end of the school year.

Position Details

  • Location: Calumet City, IL

  • Start Date: November 3, 2025

  • End Date: End of school year

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Hours: 32.5/week (8:15am–3:15pm, unpaid 30-min lunch)

  • Modality: Hybrid (in-person and remote)

  • Grade Levels: PreK through Junior High

  • Caseload: 80 students total

    • 50 PreK

    • 20 Intermediate (Grades 3–5)

    • 10 Junior High (Grades 6–8)

  • Support: SLPA onsite; remote SLP from another agency

  • Primary Site: PreK building (SLP may create their own schedule)

  • Pay Rate: $80/hr

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop therapy plans

  • Manage and collaborate with SLPA

  • Provide speech-language services per plan of care

  • Document services and monitor progress

  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations

  • Participate in IEP meetings and student care conferences as needed

Requirements

  • Active SLP license in Illinois

  • CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract)

  • CPR, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
