Psych LPN – Larned, KS | Day & Night Shifts | 17-Week Assignment

We’re hiring compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a long-term Psychiatric assignment in Larned, Kansas. This role offers consistent hours, excellent pay, and plenty of overtime opportunities in a secure behavioral health facility.

Location: Larned, KS
Start Date: November
Duration: 17 weeks
Shifts: Day or Night | 10-hour shifts
Schedule: 40 hours/week

?? Compensation:

Local Pay: $45/hour
Travel Pay: $2,046/weekTravel rate eligibility requires proof of residency 50+ miles from the facility
OT Opportunities: Frequent and well-compensated

? Requirements:

Active LPN license
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN isresponsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and thedelivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mentalhealth/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care incommunity settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a RegisteredNurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

Current LPN license in state of assignment
1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
