Psych RN – Larned, KS | Day & Night Shifts | 17-Week Assignment

We’re hiring experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term behavioral health assignment in Larned, Kansas. This role offers consistent hours, excellent pay, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a secure psychiatric facility.

• Location: Larned, KS

• Start Date: November 24

• Duration: 17 weeks

• Shifts: 12-hour Day or Night shifts

• Schedule: 36/48 hour per week rotations

?? Compensation:

• Local Pay: $60/hour

• Local OT Rate: $90/hour

• Travel Pay: $2,470 – $3,150/weekTravel rate eligibility requires proof of residency 50+ miles from the facility

? Requirements:

• Active RN license

• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred

• Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and communication skills

The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders.  The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care.  The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
