About the Role:

We are seeking acompassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  to provide medical support in a schoolsetting. This role involves monitoring and addressing health concernsthroughout the school day, promoting wellness, and supporting diseaseprevention efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for medical needs
• Monitor the physical condition and respond to health concerns throughout the school day
• Support the classroom as needed
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain documentation and comply with all applicable state education codes and nursing standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina
• One year of school nurse experience preferred
• One year of pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
