Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 1:1 Afterschool Support with Phlebotomy Certification

Location: Montebello, Los Angeles

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid Phlebotomy Certification to provide 1:1 support in our afterschool program. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys working with children and adolescents in a structured, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 care and supervision to assigned student(s) during afterschool hours
• Assist with daily activities, hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders as needed
• Perform phlebotomy procedures when required, following all safety and clinical protocols
• Monitor and document health-related observations and behaviors
• Collaborate with program staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all participants

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification in California
• Valid Phlebotomy Certification (Preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or youth in a healthcare or educational setting
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must pass background check and health clearance

Schedule:

• Weekdays, between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Additional hours may be available based on program needs
