Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers to support TK–8 students in the Santa Maria, CA area. This full-time, in-person role begins November 10th, 2025, and runs through the entire 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details

Location: Santa Maria, CA
Start Date: November 10th, 2025
End Date: End of school year
Duration: 36 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 37.5/week
Modality: In-person only
Grade Levels: TK–8 (assignments discussed during interview)
Classroom Setting & Caseload: TBD during interview
Openings: 5
Interview Feedback: Within 1 day
Pay: $60/hr local (negotiable); $2,829 gross weekly for travel candidates

Requirements

Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Mild/Moderate (CA M/M Cred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a teaching environment
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
