Special Education Teacher | TK–8 | Santa Maria, CA | $60/hr Local | $2,829/wk Travel | 2025–2026 School Year | In-Person

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers to support TK–8 students in the Santa Maria, CA area. This full-time, in-person role begins November 10th, 2025, and runs through the entire 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details

  • Location: Santa Maria, CA

  • Start Date: November 10th, 2025

  • End Date: End of school year

  • Duration: 36 weeks

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Hours: 37.5/week

  • Modality: In-person only

  • Grade Levels: TK–8 (assignments discussed during interview)

  • Classroom Setting & Caseload: TBD during interview

  • Openings: 5

  • Interview Feedback: Within 1 day

  • Pay: $60/hr local (negotiable); $2,829 gross weekly for travel candidates

Requirements

  • Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Mild/Moderate (CA M/M Cred)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a teaching environment

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
