Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (School Hours, varies by location)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join ourschool-based behavioral support team. This role involves working directly withchildren and adolescents with special needs, implementing Applied BehaviorAnalysis (ABA) strategies, and collaborating with educators and behavioralspecialists to support learning and behavioral goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision
- Collect and analyze behavioral data
- Model and coach support staff in BIP implementation
- Float between schools within assigned network
- Provide targeted support to high-need schools (RED Tier)
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training
Qualifications
- Required:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RBT in a school setting
- Experience working with students from elementary to high school
- Must be at least 18 years old
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening and health certificate (as required)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience
Work Environment & Support
- School Network: Includes 4–5 high schools, 6–8 middle schools, and 24 elementary schools
- Tiered Support Model:
- RED (High Support): Monthly touchpoints
- YELLOW (Moderate Support): Monthly/Quarterly
- GREEN (Low Support): Quarterly
- Technology: Laptop provided by the district
- Dress Code: School-appropriate attire
- Parking: Onsite at school locations
Credentialing Requirements
- MD 486
- CPS Clearance
- Fingerprints
- MSDE Approval
- RBT Certification
Interview Process

- Feedback Timeline: Within 24–48 hours
Additional Details
- Openings: 1 Full-Time + Potential Backfill
- Estimated Start Date: November 17, 2025
- No OT Pay
- EMR/Charting: District-provided laptop
- Ratio: 1:1 student support
