Modality : Special Education Teacher – Thrive Program
Location: Denton, TX
Pay Rate: $45
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
We are seeking passionate and skilled Special EducationTeachers to join our Thrive Program, an educational initiativedesigned for students with significant social, emotional, and behavioralchallenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in ahighly structured and supportive environment.
About the Role:
Teachers in this role will work in SLS classrooms,providing instruction and support to students with high levels of autism andcomplex behavioral and communication needs. You will implement specializedprograms such as:
- Rethink
- Unique Learning System (ULS)
- Discrete Trial Teaching
Maintaining strong routines, structure, and consistency isessential. You will also be responsible for:
- Data collection and progress monitoring
- ARD paperwork and participation in ARD meetings
- Using the G2 Screener (required for all SPED teachers in this role)
Qualifications:
- Required: Texas Special Education Certification (SPED CERT)
- Experience with strong behavioral interventions and data-driven instruction
- Familiarity with ARD processes and documentation
