We’re currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support two elementary school sites within the Rocketship network in San Jose, California. This is a full-time opportunity with a unique hybrid schedule—4 days in-person and 1 remote day per week—designed to support both flexibility and impact.

Position Details:

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Setting: Two elementary school sites (Rocketship)

Caseload: 26 students

Autism

Some moderate/severe needs

Some with speech delays and medical impairments

Remote Flexibility: 1 day/week remote, 4 days in-person

Credentials Required:

California OT License
-
School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities Include:

Providing individualized OT services aligned with IEP goals

Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success

Supporting fine motor, sensory, and functional skills in classroom settings

Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings
-
Adapting strategies to meet diverse needs across both school sites

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible forperforming student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, anddocumenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for eachstudent.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the Stateof practice
- One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapyexperience preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
