HYBRID Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
- Location: Calumet City, IL – Hybrid schedule
- Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
- Grade Level: PreK- OR Junior High
- Support: SLPA Onsite
- Start Date: ASAP
- Travel opportunities available for those residing 50+ miles away.
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a student-focused team in Calumet City, IL.
Role Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct services in accordance with each student’s plan of care and physician’s orders. You’ll work closely with educators and support staff to ensure students receive the tools and strategies needed to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapy services aligned with educational and developmental goals
- Document services and progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student success
Minimum Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Illinois (required)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the SLP endorsement preferred.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state or contract
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- Completion of TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
