Physical Therapist – ST

School Physical Therapist (PT) – $70/hour (Local)
Location: Santa Barbara, CA 
Schedule: 3 days/week | 24 hours/week | Flexible schedule
Contract Length: 32 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Amergis is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide in-person school-based therapy services across multiple sites within the SBUSD district. This role supports students district-wide in achieving their physical development goals through individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and student IEPs
  • Travel between school sites as needed to provide services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license
  • School-based experience required
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
  • Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation:

  • Local Pay Rate: $70/hour

Classroom Setting: May serve multiple school sites
Grade Level: District-wide
Case Load/Class Size: TBD
