Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Special Education Teachers to support a Middle School in Vallejo, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. These roles focus on moderate to severe SPED classrooms and are in-person only.

Position Details

Location: Middle School, Vallejo, CA
Start Date: November 10th, 2025
Duration: 39 weeks
Schedule: 35 hours/week
Pay Rate:
- Local: $65/hr
- Travel Package: $2,576/week ($38/hr + housing + meals)
Openings: 2
Setting: Middle School SPED (Moderate/Severe)
Bonuses: Sign-on, completion, and flexible bonus options available

Requirements

Valid state teaching certificate (SPED endorsement required)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
CPR certification, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong communication and computer proficiency
