Overview
Prince William County Schools (PWCS), in partnership with Amergis, is seeking a qualified Virtual Audiologist to support students and staff throughout the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a part-time, remote opportunity ideal for professionals looking to contribute their expertise in educational audiology while maintaining flexibility.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the designated audiology representative for PWCS in all matters related to Independent Education Evaluations (IEEs)

Review and interpret third-party audiological reports and provide insights to school teams

Participate in virtual IEP meetings, consultations, and report reviews

Collaborate with school staff to ensure accurate understanding and application of audiological findings

Maintain professional documentation and communication in alignment with school policies
Position Details

Guaranteed 15 hours per week throughout the school year

Additional hours may be available based on district needs

Primarily remote; occasional in-person evaluations may be required (local candidates preferred)

Qualifications

Must hold valid Audiologist credentials (SLPs or Special Education Teachers will not be considered)

Experience with Independent Education Evaluations (IEEs) is required

Prior experience in school settings is a plus, but not mandatory

CCC-A certification (for dual SLP/Audiologists) is welcomed
