As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll be the communication champion for students of all ages. You’ll evaluate, treat, and document services according to individualized plans of care and physician’s orders — all while collaborating with educators and families to help students thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting student evaluations
- Providing speech-language therapy services
- Documenting progress and outcomes
- Collaborating with school teams to support student success
What You’ll Need:
- Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with appropriate endorsement
- Active SLP Licensure in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) — preferred and may be required
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
