Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Licensed Only)
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Duration: 39 Weeks
Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality services to students with disabilities in grades K–12. This role emphasizes collaboration with general education staff to plan and implement individualized student programs, including specialized instruction and tutorial support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by contract/district regulations
- Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
- Preferred Certifications:
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Teaching
- Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
