?? We’re Hiring: Part-Time Teacher/Tutor – Credit Recovery Support (Westford, MA & Remote) ??
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a part-time Teacher/Tutor to support two high school students enrolled in online credit recovery programs. These students are working toward completing a few remaining credits to earn their diplomas, and we’re looking for someone who can guide and oversee their academic progress.
This is a great opportunity for educators or tutors looking for flexible, part-time work with a meaningful impact!
?? Position Details
- Location Options:
- In-Person: Westford, MA
- Remote: One student will be supported virtually
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Flexible, approx. 10–15 hours/week
- Hours: A few hours per day, based on student needs
- Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour
?? Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist students with online coursework
- Provide academic support across high school subjects
- Monitor progress and ensure students stay on track
- Communicate with students and staff to support learning goals
- Encourage motivation and accountability in a virtual or in-person setting
? Requirements
- Strong competency in high school-level academics
- Experience as a teacher or tutor in a secondary education setting
- Ability to work independently and manage student engagement
- Comfortable with online learning platforms and virtual instruction
- Reliable, organized, and supportive
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
