This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in behavioral and intellectual disabilities who is passionate about leadership and pursuing a teaching license.

 Position Overview

• Location: Fall River, MA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:20 AM – 2:30 PM
• Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year
• Pay Rate: Up to $35/hour

 What You’ll Do

• Lead and support paraprofessional staff within sub-separate classrooms
• Provide direct support to students in 1:1 and small group settings
• Implement and oversee behavior support plans and academic activities
• Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure consistent support strategies
• Assist with changing/toileting as needed
• Help write and implement IEPs

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with behavioral and intellectual disabilities
• Demonstrated leadership experience in educational or behavioral settings
• Strong skills in de-escalation, data collection, and behavior tracking
• Passion for education and a desire to pursue a teaching license
• Comfortable working with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age
