Educational Assistant – Title I SPED – Knoxville, TN

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

For Submission: school support staff screener score above 10 + meets “highly qualified” requirements (earned a minimum of 48 college credit hours OR a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Exam previously. This is not a position for candidates who would need to take the ParaPro through us.)

Interview/Feedback Details

No interview with the school, but must complete Amergis BT training process (screener, relias exam, crisis prevention training, BT orientation, professionalism training) in addition to Amergis credentialing + KCS fingerprints and drug screen

School will be assigned based on openings that are dropped weekly by KCS. BDM will confirm school with recruiter after candidate is in full placement
