Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students in an inclusion classroom in Austin, TX. This in-person role begins November 2, 2025, and runs through the end of the school year. The teacher will collaborate with general education staff and provide individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs.

Position Details

• Location: Austin, TX

• Setting: Inclusion classroom, K–12

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37 hours/week

• Start Date: November 2, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Pay Rate: $47 per hour

• Openings: 1

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction in an inclusion setting

• Support students with diverse learning needs across grade levels

• Participate in IEP development and implementation

• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

• Provide consultative support and tutorial assistance as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Texas teaching certificate required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

• Endorsement in Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• Experience in special education or inclusive classrooms preferred

• CPR certification, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
