Position: PACU RN (Registered Nurse)

Location: Brockton, MA

Details: Looking for an experienced PACU RN (Phase 1 and Phase 2) in anacute care hospital setting with prior Travel RN experience. Must havecritical care experience. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Preferredskills: pediatric, preop, PALS certification, and Meditech. Night, weekend, andholiday call rotation required.

Can be flexible on hours/week and shift hours, but primarilyevening shift. Could accommodate:

4 or 5 – 8hr shifts, 3p-11:30p – for a total of 32-40 hrs/week OR

2-12h (day/evening combo) + 1-2-8hr shifts (3-11:30p) – for atotal of 32-40 hrs/week OR

3-12h shifts (primarily 11a-11:30p with possible 9a-9:30p) -total of 36 hrs/week

Preferable start date: 11/17

Pay: $3,122/Week for 40’s

The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient post operation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.

Minimum Requirements:

Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.
ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
