Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Estimated Start Date: November 17, 2025

Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Job Summary

Amergis Educational is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the Autism Learning Center. This role focuses on supporting students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), all of whom have Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The BCBA will collaborate with faculty to implement behavioral strategies, develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and contribute to IEP meetings.

You’ll work closely with teachers, social workers, aides, and the principal to foster a positive and productive learning environment. This is a travel-eligible position with a preference for in-person interviews, though virtual options may be considered. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs
  • Provide input on student IEP goals
  • Mentor and train staff on behavioral strategies and BIP implementation
  • Promote positive behavior interventions and systems
  • Monitor and analyze behavioral data
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • BCBA certification (required)
  • Current Maryland Behavior Analyst License
  • 2+ years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum (preferred)
  • Experience in school settings (preferred)
  • Familiarity with DSM and IDEA applications in education (preferred)
  • Supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are a plus
