Corrections RN – Evening Shift | Fort Dodge, IA

We’re hiring a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Corrections assignment in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This role offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a secure facility.

?? Assignment Details:

• Location: Fort Dodge, IA

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Schedule: Monday–Friday + every other weekend

• Hours: 40 hours/week

?? Compensation:

• Local Pay: $58/hour

• Travel Pay: $2,646/weekTravel rate eligibility requires proof of residency 50+ miles from the facility

? Qualifications:

• Active RN license

• 1+ year of corrections or behavioral health experience preferred

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a correctional environment

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population.  This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age
