School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Monolingual (x2 Openings)
Location: Austin, TX
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 28 Weeks (Ends May 28, 2026)
Pay Rate: $58/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our school-based team in Austin, TX. These professionals will be responsible for conducting evaluations, delivering therapy services, and collaborating with educational staff to support students’ communication needs across K–12 grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and IEPs
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the educational environment
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Caseload Details:
- Caseload Size: 45–55 students
- Grade Levels: K–12
- Classroom Type: General, Inclusion, Self-Contained
- Support: Speech Team collaboration
Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract)
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
